Planning a vacation is a big decision, and we want you to feel comfortable with who we are and how we do business.
Croatian Adventurers began in 2019 simply as a way for us to share our travels, experiences and love of Croatia.
Over the years, more and more people began asking us how they could experience Croatia the way we do. In 2025, we decided to take Croatian Adventurers to the next level, growing from the travel brand we started into a U.S.-based travel company specializing in Croatia.

We’re still a small business, and we think that’s part of what makes working with us different. You’re working directly with us, and we want you to know exactly what to expect—from how we help with your Croatian Adventure and the travel partners we work with, to who handles your bookings and where your money goes.

So, we’ve put together answers to some of the questions you may have before deciding to plan your Croatian vacation with Croatian Adventurers.
How Do We Do Business?
Although we provide travel planning services, Croatian Adventurers LLC is not currently a booking agency.
​
We’ll help you put together your Croatian Adventure, explore your options and narrow down things like small-ship cruises, itineraries and other travel experiences. Once you’re ready to book, we’ll connect you directly with the tour operator or booking provider who will handle your reservation.

That means you always know exactly who you are booking your trip with.

What Exactly Is Croatian Adventurers LLC?
​Croatian Adventurers is a registered Pennsylvania LLC. At this stage of our business, we work with tour operators and travel providers primarily through affiliate and referral relationships rather than operating as a traditional travel agency.
That means we help you plan and explore the possibilities, while the travel provider handles the actual booking and your travel payments.

How Does Croatian Adventurers Make Money?
We believe in being upfront about this too.
​
Some of the travel companies and booking providers we recommend have an affiliate or referral relationship with Croatian Adventurers. When you book through one of those relationships and complete your trip, we may receive a referral fee or commission from that company.

Who Do I Pay?
You pay the company actually providing or booking your travel—not Croatian Adventurers.
​
Once we’ve helped you choose a cruise, tour or other travel option, you’ll book and make your payments directly with the tour operator or through the applicable booking provider.
​What if I’m Not Comfortable Paying a Company Overseas?
We completely understand.
​
Part of choosing the companies we work with is making sure we're comfortable introducing you to them. We look at their reputation, history, reviews and experience, and whenever possible, we want to know the people behind the company—not just the name on a website.
​
With our cruise partners, that has included personal meetings, doing our own research and, in some cases, actually traveling with them ourselves.
​
If a travel partner offers U.S.-based payment processing, we'll explain that to you during the pre-booking process.
​
Will I Receive an Invoice and Receipts?
Absolutely.
​
Because you're booking directly with the tour operator or booking provider, they will provide your invoice or booking confirmation, receipts for payments and deposits, and any applicable payment reminders.
​
You'll have documentation directly from the company responsible for your reservation.
​
What About Cancellations and Refunds?
Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the cruise, tour or travel provider you choose.
​
Before you book, the applicable cancellation and refund terms will be provided with your quote or booking information, so you’ll have an opportunity to review them before making a payment.
​
What About Travel Insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance.
​
Your tour operator may also recommend or offer information about travel insurance when you book. Be sure to review the coverage carefully and choose the protection that makes sense for your trip.

What Happens if the Tour Operator Cancels or Something Disrupts My Trip?
Travel doesn't always go exactly according to plan, which is another reason it's important to understand the terms of your booking.
​
Your tour operator's policies will explain what happens in the event of a cancellation, itinerary change or other disruption. Those terms will be provided as part of your quote or booking information before you commit to the trip.
