Our Stay at
Villa Senjkovic Apartment
Villa Senjković Apartment in Bol quickly became one of our favorite vacation stays. This one-bedroom apartment was the perfect base for our time on the Island of Brač, home to Croatia’s most famous beach, Zlatni Rat. With a cozy queen bedroom, small living room, spacious bath with a large shower, and a balcony overlooking the Adriatic where we watched the stars each evening, the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing five-day stay. The small kitchen made it easy to prepare breakfast with fresh Croatian meats, eggs, and pastries we picked up just six minutes away at the local grocery store.
Although the apartment didn’t include a washing machine — usually a must-have for us — our gracious hostess, Mrs. Senjković, kindly offered to do our laundry for a small fee, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. She was also wonderfully flexible and accommodating, even allowing us to extend our stay by an extra day on short notice for a very reasonable fee.
We loved the location, just a five-minute walk downhill to Bol’s charming town center, where we discovered incredible restaurants, a lively riva filled with vendors and souvenirs, and plenty of local shops. From there, Zlatni Rat Beach was easy to reach by car, a 20-minute walk, or a quick 10-minute trolley ride.
The apartment is located on the third floor, so it may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues, but for us it was absolutely perfect. Between the sea views, welcoming host, and the unbeatable location, Villa Senjković Apartment offered everything we hoped for — and we would happily choose it again.
